Summary:
After defeating Mr. 3 and finding a way to head towards Arabasta, the Straw Hats must overcome one last obstacle: a giant goldfish blocking the island's exit. However, the Elbaf warriors offer their help and ask the crew to go straight ahead. While being eaten by the fish, the giants unleash a powerful attack that pierces the monster from end to end, giving Merry a direct exit as promised. The ship is sent flying and Usopp and Luffy (who were the only ones with faith) scream with joy. After saying goodbye, the giants reminisce about the old days through a flashback.
Meanwhile, the crew is happy to finally get to Arabasta as quickly as possible, but Nami suddenly collapses, brought down by a high fever.
The Straw Hats set sail from the Little Garden, but are quickly confronted by an island that eats goldfish. Nami demands that they turn away from the beast, but Usopp and Luffy remember the giant's words and proceed to sail the ship directly as ordered - into the mouth of the beast. Looking at this scene from the Little Garden, the giants remember the last time they encountered an island devouring sea beast. The giant duo hurled their weapons at the beast in unison. Creates a powerful attack that frees the Straw Hats from the beast's stomach.
Dorry and Brogy then remember how the 100-year duel started with them. Many years ago these two ruled Elbaf. When they both returned home with two large sea creatures, they asked who was bigger. They immediately started arguing, and for years tried to equalize the pay based on who caught the bigger fish. The mountains that appeared on the island once zoomed out turned out to be the bones of the sea animals they caught last year.
In the present, the giants began to feel nostalgic, but they heard the eruption of the volcano signaling another time for the duel. Meanwhile, back on the Going Merry, Usopp promises to visit Elbaf one day, while Nami asks Vivi to navigate for a while. Sanji serves lunch to everyone while Zoro continues his training as he feels that he has weakened due to lack of practice.
Elsewhere in Arabasta, Mr. 2 prepares to leave for Little Garden and feels annoyed at having to waste time.
On the Going Merry, Nami collapses with a fever.
