Summary:
While Vivi, Usopp, and Zoro recover from the avalanche, Nami wakes up in Drum Castle to find Dr. Kureha, who healed her, and a strange little reindeer.
After the avalanche, Vivi and Usopp are still alive but lost. On their way, they accidentally run into a nearly naked Zoro, who tells them he was training when the avalanche hit. They continue their journey together and realize they have returned to the Bighorn. He learns from the villagers that Dalton is still buried in the avalanche, but that Wapolo’s men are preventing the villagers from freeing him. Hearing that they are enemies, Zoro beats up one of the guards and everyone praises him as a hero. However, he quickly reveals that he only wanted their warm clothes and that they were in the way was just a bonus.
Meanwhile, at the castle, Nami wakes up. There is a strange animal in her room that can walk and talk that seems rather impersonal. When Dr. Kureha enters, she reveals that everyone is safe and that Nami narrowly escaped death. If it had been 2 days longer, she would have died of a disease called Casha. In addition, even if he feels better, he still needs to be treated for 3 more days. Nami realizes that this is too long and wants to leave.
Suddenly, Luffy and Sanji burst into the room and chase Chopper to eat him. When asked about this strange animal, Doctorine reveals that it is a reindeer that accidentally ate Hito Hito no Mi, becoming a reindeer capable of speaking and turning into a human.
