He then attacks Luffy’s tendrils, saying that he can match Luffy’s abilities and overwhelm him in both speed and strength. Luffy attacks him with a quick kick, but Katakuri dodges it and runs in front of Luffy. Luffy uses his own Gear 2 speed to race after Katakuri in the blink of an eye, but Katakuri also sees it and kicks him in the face, sending him tumbling away. Katakuri predicts that Luffy will try to use some power next, and when Luffy activates Gear 3 and races to attack Katakuri with the Elephant Gun, Sweet Commander creates a giant mochi fist and deflects Luffy’s attack with an even bigger fist. With a huge amount of power, Katakuri pushes Luffy away and slams him into a wall, severely injuring the Straw Hat as the other Big Mom Pirates cheer Katakuri on.
