Summary:
Arlong tries to kill Genzo to remind the people of Cocoyasi Village that it is futile to defy the will of the Arlong pirates. Genzo is saved thanks to Usopp.
Genzo is found to be in possession of several weapons – which are prohibited by Arlong’s rules. He announces to the crowd that the guns can be seen as the beginning of an uprising. As a result, Genzo becomes an example of the inferiority of humans to fishmen and is executed in front of all the villagers. As the villagers of Cocoyasi village attempt to save their friend’s life, Genzo pleads with them to remain silent as it would mean that what they have endured for the past 8 years would be for naught.
As Arlong is about to deliver the final blow to Genza, he is hit by an explosion. Laughing from the top of the buildings, Usopp speaks boldly about having 8,000 seasoned assassins ready to attack him. Arlong goes mad and destroys the house he resides in in response to Usopp’s insult. Fearing that he will destroy the entire village they need to get the money, the fishmen hold him back and promise to capture Usopp and take him back to Arlong Park.
After Arlong leaves and while the Fishmen try to capture the running Usopp, Nami appears in the village. Everyone but her sister ignores her. She came to put flowers on the grave. He tells Nojiko that he only needs Beli’s 7,000,000 until he can buy the village.
Meanwhile, at Arlong Park, Zoro, freed by Nami, has defeated every Fish-Man in the park and awaits Arlong’s return.
