Summary:
While Queen uncovers the secret of Sanji King, where she fights King elsewhere, Zoro realizes an important fact from his past.
Kazenbo continues to make his way down to the armory. Beast Pirates and samurai try in vain to stop his descent. Yamato realizes that the flame apparition is moving through the walls and that it will soon reach the armory. He urgently moves faster and asks for the help of Numbers, Fugue. At the head of the Fugue are Brook and Robin. Knowing that the CP0s are right behind the flames, he jumps down and quickly puts distance between them and the agents.
CP0, still in pursuit, are stopped when their photos are taken by Apoo, who plans to sell the photos to Morgans of the World Economy News Paper. After Apoo reveals his plans, one of the agents attacks him using his Shigan technique. The agent then focuses his sights on X Drake and attacks him with the same technique. However, he is stopped by Apoo, who survived by defending himself with Busoshoku Haki. Apoo uses the Scratch Boom to send the agent flying. X Drake suggests they team up to take down the CP0 agents and Apoo gladly accepts.
Meanwhile, Onigashima approaches the flower capital. Momonosuke keeps creating Flame Clouds to prevent the floating island from collapsing. He remembers his promise to Luffy, Yamato and the citizens of Wan and the reason he asked Shinobu to age him. He is determined not to break that promise and keep everyone safe.
Inside, Komurasaki plays her shamisen as Orochi watches with tears in her eyes. The sound of the shamisen causes Enma to drain Zoro’s Haki. Seeing Zoro trying to stop Enma from draining him completely, King mocks Zoro arguing with his “friend”. The two continue their clash, with King Zoro constantly taunting and insulting him.
Elsewhere, Sanji attacks the Queen with Hell Memories, sending her flying. However, All-Star laughs it off and expresses his disappointment at not being able to see Sanji use his Germa suit. The Queen continues to provoke Sanji, calling him mentally weak for asking Zoro for help. He tells Sanji that Zoro is no better and that he won’t be able to defeat the King because the King is a Lunarian, a race that humans once worshiped as gods. Sanji brushes it off and asks how the “gods” managed to become extinct.
Zoro doesn’t know how to defeat the king. He attacks with his One Sword Style Iai: Death-Lion’s Song, an attack he considers stronger than his previous attacks. However, this will not cause any damage to King. Zoro hears the shamisen and Enma drains his Haki again. At the same time, King attacks Zoro with Tempuraudon and hits Zoro. This hit causes Zoro to drop his swords. King notes that this is the first time he has ever seen a swordsman restrained by his own swords. Zoro falls and tries to retrieve his blades. He remembers the day he obtained the Sandai Kitetsu, a cursed sword forged by Tenguyama Hitetsu. The king attacks Zoro in the air, causing him to crash into the side of the floating island. There he finds Wado Ichimonji, the sword of Kuina, his childhood friend. In a flashback, Hitetsu explains that Enma and Wado Ichimonji were forged by the same person, the legendary swordsman Shimotsuki Kozaburo. This is why Enma fits comfortably in Zoro’s hand. These memories make Zoro question how the sword from Wano Land got to the remote area in East Blue.
