One Piece Manga Chapter 116

While Zoro and Sanji encounter dinosaurs while hunting, Luffy and Vivi encounter Brogy, and Nami and Usopp encounter Dorry. The two are giants of Elbaf, fighting a duel to resolve a feud that has lasted over 100 years.

As he explores the Little Garden, Sanji hears Nami screaming before coming face to face with a Tyrannosaurus Rex, while Zoro comes face to face with a Triceratops. At Sunny, Nami and Usopp stare in shock and horror as they meet a giant named Brogy who asks them if they have any rum. Brogy screams as the dinosaur bites him in the back, causing Nami and Usopp to scream in fear, and is even more scared when Brogy quickly cuts off the dinosaur’s head and raises his head, declaring that he is Elbaf’s strongest warrior. Brogy welcomes Nami and Usopp as guests, but they are so scared that they play dead. Meanwhile, Luffy stands on the head of a brontosaurus and looks down on the island. Vivi tells him to get off, but Luffy isn’t afraid and wants to go to the rock with the strange looking holes he saw. However, the dinosaur flips its head back and swallows Luffy, but is immediately decapitated by the giant Dorry, causing Luffy to fall out of its neck and land in Dorry’s hand. Dorry declares himself to be Elbaf’s strongest warrior and invites her and Luffy over as Vivi looks on in horror.

At Brogy’s house, the giant offers Nami and Usopp some of the dinosaur meat he cooked, but the pair see skeletons around them and believe Brogy will eat them too. Nami asks how long it will take Log Pose to record this island, and Brogy reveals that it takes a year, leaving both her and Usopp horrified. At Dorry’s house, Vivi watches as Luffy easily converses with the giant while eating. Luffy asks where Dorry is from, and Dorry reveals that he is from a village on Elbafa, which is somewhere on the Grand Line. However, in his village, the rule is that quarrels that cannot be resolved will be decided by the gods in combat. He is currently fighting Brogy due to a disagreement, although the two have been fighting each other for over 100 years. Vivi is horrified by this custom and speaks out about it, but a volcano in the center of the island erupts, signaling Dorry and Brogy to resume the battle. Luffy silences Vivi’s attempts to stop the fight, and Dorry confirms that he is now only fighting Brogy for pride, as the two have forgotten the reason for their original disagreement. The two giants clash and Luffy collapses to the ground, overwhelmed by the interaction with the huge giants.
