Summary:
While Don Krieg brags to Luffy that only the strongest can win and that his armor is indestructible, Luffy believes that he is strong enough to win the fight against Krieg. Every time Don Krieg throws a new attack at him, Luffy dodges and punches him. Finally, after being attacked by Gomu Gomu no Bazooka, Don Krieg’s armor is shattered into pieces.
Luffy can balance Don Krieg’s power. Destroys Krieg’s most powerful weapon. Everyone is surprised and can’t believe that Luffy is still able to stand on his feet. But Krieg has a lot of confidence and plans to use it to defeat Luffy. He believes his weapon is the most powerful weapon in the world. His energy was still charging and meanwhile Luffy’s wasn’t.
Sanji still doesn’t believe that Luffy can defeat Krieg due to his weakened condition. But Zeff says that Luffy has one weapon that Krieg doesn’t, no fear of death. He tells Sanji on the battlefield that he must have the principle of not fearing death. If they are afraid, they will lose in a second. That principle was in Luffy, Zeff added.
Krieg attacks Luffy again and wants to execute him for daring to challenge the “Mightiest Captain” in East Blue. But Luffy dodges it and hangs on the mast. Then Krieg cuts the mast. Unfortunately, his attacks won’t hurt Luffy. Luffy throws a mast at him. But Krieg destroys him by shooting at him. Luffy replies “Gomu Gomu No Gatling”. But Krieg’s armor protects him. Luffy continues to use his “Gomu Gomu No Pistol” and sends Krieg flying, but the armor still doesn’t shatter. Kriegs plans to drop bombs from the top of the mast. Luffy tries to stop it and run faster. Finally, Luffy destroys the armor with “Gomu Gomu No Bazooka”, smashing it into pieces.
