Summary:
The Straw Hat Pirates head to Yuba Oasis to negotiate with the rebel leaders and stop the rebellion. Meanwhile, Crocodile and Miss All Sunday are finalizing preparations for the surgery, which is scheduled to take place in two days at 7am. The remaining officer agents – Mr. 1 and Miss Doublefinger, Mr. 2 Bon Kurei, and Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas – gathered at the Spiders Cafe, with Mr. 3 listening from outside. Once the officer agents are assembled, they go to Rainbase to meet Mr. 0.
After Ace’s departure, the Straw Pirates head to Yuba. They ask Luffy about the piece of paper Ace gave him that has nothing written on it. Despite this, Luffy wants to keep him because Ace wanted him to, so Nami sews a paper to the underside of Luffy’s hat for safekeeping. Strawberries change into clothes to protect them from the scorching temperatures that Vivi warns Luffy about. They arrive at the mouth of the Sandora River and Vivi explains to them the way they will travel to Yuba using a map she has drawn. She leaves the river and heads inland, opposite the city of Erumalu, where she anchors. They then head across the desert to the Yuba Oasis so Vivi can meet with the rebel leader to explain the situation. Vivi is convinced that they can stop the baroque works and save her country.
Meanwhile, Crocodile and Miss All Sunday are finalizing their schedule which starts in two days at 7am. Crocodile asks Miss All Sunday about the necessary preparations, and Miss All Sunday answers soothingly, telling him about the 150 billion agents waiting in Nanohana. He also mentions Mr. 2 Bon Kurei’s failure to find and care for Mr. 3, much to Crocodile’s annoyance. Miss All Sunday also reveals that the remaining officer agents are to meet at the Spiders Cafe that night at 8.
The Spiders Cafe is revealed to be the headquarters of Arabast’s baroque works. Inside, a woman reads a magazine and listens to a vinyl record. Immediately after, Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas come crashing into the cafe. Miss Merry Christmas blames Mr. 4 for the long trip that made her hips hurt, and Mr. 4 very slowly apologizes. Miss Merry Christmas greets the woman Paula, the owner of the cafe, and asks her how things are going. Noticing that no one else is in the cafe, Paula explains that the cafe is reserved for officer agents that night. Paula mentions how long she hasn’t seen the Mr. Team. 4, and offers Pekoe orange tea to Miss Merry Christmas and apple tea to Mr. No. 4. Miss Merry Christmas urges Paula to hurry up with her drink and bangs impatiently. counter. Paula then asks about their work. Mr. 2 laughs at this and says it’s okama, and asks Paula for an octofait, an octopus parfait, which Paula doesn’t serve. Mr. 2 then dismisses his billion subordinates and reminds them not to let up on their dance practice. Meanwhile, Miss Merry Christmas is getting a massage from Mr. 4, and Mr. 2 notices that the “fat old hag” is also participating. Pauly then asks about Mr. 1’s couple, whom he has never met. Although he has heard rumors about Mr. 1’s intimidating personality, Mr. 2 is not bothered. From a distance, Mr. 3 is shown spying on the gathering through the window.
