Summary:
Gedatsu looks for Chopper, wondering if he has the ability to become invisible, but his eyes are turned to the back of his head, causing him not to see the reindeer standing right in front of him. A nearby member of God’s army yells at him for rolling his eyes again and points out that the enemy is right in front of him. Hearing this, still freaked out by how Gedatsu’s eyes look, Chopper wonders if he’s an idiot. However, when he hears a militia member say “enemy”, he deduces that Gedatsu must be a priest. Gedatsu confirms Chopper’s suspicions, but it’s all in his head, causing a militia member to remind Gedatsu to actually say it out loud. Gedatsu breaks his silence by warning Chopper that he is in his territory and that he will not be able to escape if he is trapped in one of his swamp traps. He concludes by stating that his “Ordeal of Swamp” has a 50% survival rate, however Chopper points out that he is actually the one sinking. However, Gedatsu quickly escapes by flying up with the special dials on the heels of his shoes. He declares that he has no time to waste with a raccoon and shoots a large swamp cloud from another set of special dials on his palms. Chopper notes this ability when Gedatsu explains that what he actually shot was a small swamp. However, it turns out that he was actually targeting a member of the militia, as his head is engulfed in a cloud. He gets deeper into it as he struggles and eventually passes out from lack of oxygen. Chopper also notices and takes note, but not for long as the priest targets him next.
Chopper manages to avoid the cloud by running away and runs to check on the militia member. Chopper resuscitates him back to life by transforming into Heavy Point and performing CPR (chest pounding) and the militia member is grateful. Gedatsu quickly tracks them down and admonishes the militia soldier that he requires help from the enemy. Brushing it off in light of what the priest did to him, he prepares to fight alongside Chopper. Chopper excitedly takes a similar fighting stance to a militia member, but this is short lived as Gedatsu quickly closes the distance between them and sends the militia flying into a tree with a killing blow. With Chopper still in awe, Gedatsu explains that the now-defunct jet dial gives this punch great speed and power, revealing their location on his elbows. Completely devastated by what just happened to a member of God’s army at the hands of a priest, Chopper decides he must run or die. He tries to run back into the forest, but is quickly interrupted by the priest. He prepares another strike with the jet dial, but Chopper eats the Rumble Ball and transforms into Jumping Point to avoid the attack. In the air, Gedatsu closes the distance fairly quickly using the jets on his legs and tries to hit Chopper again. This time avoids the transformation, into Heavy Point. Gedatsu fires another swamp cloud at him and Chopper transforms into Guard Point again to avoid it. Gedatsu this time flies directly at Chopper as he transforms into Brain Point again, using “Scope” to find his weakness. However, he can’t identify it fast enough as the priest delivers a devastating blow and Chopper flies through several buildings.
Chopper is revealed to have transformed into his guard point at the last second to absorb most of the damage, discovering that the priest’s weak point is his legs. However, he is still badly injured by the blow and notices the impact on his vision and legs as he transforms into Walk Point. Fighting through his pain, Chopper now completely negates the premise of the escape attempt, crawling over to the priest and transforming back into Heavy Point as he grabs his leg. He tells himself that he will defeat Gedatsu before the priest kicks him away. Gedatsu wonders what he’s up to as he prepares another swamp cloud. Chopper returns to Walk Point and thinks about how he always runs away and always needs protection. He believes that this is why no one ever relies on him, and he decides to start his life as a pirate here and now in this moment. He transforms back into Jumping Point and jumps high into the air above Gedatsu. The priest muses that the helicopter’s efforts are futile and that the sky is his territory. However, as he tries to shoot towards Chopper, he flies up in a very erratic pattern and notices that the shoe (removed by Chopper earlier) is missing. He curses Chopper by calling him a raccoon and Chopper replies that he is a monster and that he is strong. Gedatsu replies that only the weak raise their voice and tries to connect with another Jet Punch, but Chopper dodges it. Surprised by his missus, Gedatsu notes that his emotions may have affected his mantra when Chopper transformed into Arm Point. Chopper raises his biceps as high as he can and delivers a powerful blow to the priest’s diaphragm, leaving an X-shaped butt. The priest falls to the ground unconscious as Chopper goes back to Brain Point and falls as well.
