Summary:
The inhabitants of Angel Island hurry to the end of the clouds. They ask the militia where he is, but Conis didn’t have the courage to talk about the tragedy. In fact, he knows that Enel was a bad person and the Birka tragedy must not be repeated where Enel destroyed it six years ago. McKinley revealed that many people fought against Enel. For the sake of the citizens, the White Beret betrayed the militia to protect the island. Conis left, leaving the evacuation to McKinley.
Enel demanded respect from Luffy because he himself is a god, but Luffy did not see him as a god. Aisa praised Luffy for his bravery. Nami tells Luffy to be careful and Enel stares at her coldly. Luffy felt more anger as Enel laughed at the Skypiean’s fate and Luffy charged towards Enel and attacked Luffy with his lightning. Stunned, Luffy stands firm, Enel launched a second and third attack and it still didn’t affect Luffy, however it angers Luffy and he responded with a punch and Enel dodged it. Nami thought that maybe it was because of his rubber body that allowed him to withstand Enel’s lightning.
Luffy attacks Enel again and welcomes it as he proudly thought that a physical attack wouldn’t hurt him, but it proves otherwise. Nami figured it was because the rubber shuts down the electricity and Luffy became Enel’s natural enemy.
