Summary:
At the Mont Blanc house, Cricket na Jay informs Shoujo and Masiro that they are no longer looking under the sea for his ancestor Noland’s claim. But instead, at their request, they are now pursuing a new dream. Meanwhile, in Mock Town on the same island, Bellamy and Sarquiss unexpectedly fight each other. The reason for the fight is the unexpected return of their true leader: Seven Sea Warriors member Donquijote Doflamingo. He felt angry that his “symbol” was used in disgrace to fight foolish dreams like the existence of a city of gold in the sky. Although Bellamy begs for forgiveness and declares that he will never shame the mark again, Doflamingo still uses his powers to have Sarquiss attack him. As Bellamy screams, Doflamingo offers the beginning of a “New Age” where only good pirates exist and trash is abandoned.
Elsewhere, the straw pirates have a successful landing back in the Blue Sea when the octopus balloon shrinks to a smaller size after landing. All crew members believe as if the dream is over and that maybe one day they will return to Skypiea again. But before they can talk for too long, a massive tsunami approaches the ship with the bizarre faces of sea monkeys staring at them, forcing the Going Merry out of the way. Checking their goods that they brought from Skypiea, they discover Nami’s Waver and also almost all the dials collected (except the Cloud Dial) work in the Blue Sea. However, Nami is more interested in dividing up the gold collected from their journey, claiming 80% of all profits, even as the rest of the crew ask for various things themselves. But even with what they want, they all soon realize what they need: for all the damage Merry has sustained on his journey, they need a place to fix it. Although they know that Usopp has been protecting her since he left Syrup Village, he considers himself a sniper and therefore not worthy of all the upkeep. Luffy can thus make an intelligent decision: the next member of the crew will be the boatman who will protect and maintain their home, followed by the musician.
At the same time, at Marine Corps Headquarters, officials note that one of their most powerful members has gone missing. When the Five Elders get wind of this, they notice that he usually does what he wants regardless of what others say. “He” is revealed to be Admiral Aokiji, who was seen innocently riding his bike across the ocean while looking at Luffy’s wanted poster.
