Summary:
At the Tower of Justice, as the CP9 members return to their rooms, Spandam remembers something he wanted to give to Kaku and Kalif. He gave everyone a devil fruit. Everyone is excited about the devil fruit. Jabra panics and tells them not to bring the fruit to him when Fukurou comments that it’s the first time he’s seen one. Kaku asks Jabra what’s going on. Jabra explains that since he ate a devil fruit, it means that he has a devil living in his body, and if he gets too close to another devil fruit, his devil and the devil in the fruit will fight and he will explode and die. Kaku was surprised, but Blueno cut him off, saying that it was nonsense, that a secret service agent shouldn’t be fooled by such a stupid rumor. Blueno corrects him, saying that his body will only explode and leave no traces if he eats two Devil Fruits. Lucci adds that any greedy fool would die like that, and considering what one fruit does, it’s easy to see what two can do. Jabra asks Spandam where he got the two fruits. Spandam simply replies that he has connections and they should eat them for the future, adding one last thing, he has no idea what powers either fruit grants the user.
In Lucia’s room, Kaku says that she has a hard time believing that Devil Fruits come from this world. He also said that he felt a strange aura emanating from her that pulled him like a gravitational force, and that he couldn’t find a single fruit in his picture encyclopedia. Caliph replies that this is normal and goes on to say that they can figure out the name of the fruit based on the power it gives, but that power can be completely random. He comments on how horrible life must be for someone who was given some special power and would lose the ability to swim. Lucci pours himself a drink and tells them that no matter what kind of power it is how they use it, adding that there is very little chance of the fruit weakening them and that being a “hammer” isn’t much. inconveniences and that some people sail their whole lives looking for a single devil fruit. Hiding behind the door with Fukura and Kumadori, Jabra tries to convince them not to eat it, saying that nothing good could come of it and how awful it tasted. Fukurou comments that Jabra just doesn’t want Kaku to turn on. Kumadori added, or perhaps replied, that envy and jealousy damage one’s reputation. Jabra makes their final argument, telling them they could sell them for hundreds, but eating them could mean a lifetime of problems. Kaku remarks that it could be fun as he bites into his banana-shaped Devil Fruit. Caliph said she would welcome the new power if the fruit proved victorious as she placed a watermelon shaped slice of her devil fruit into her mouth. Jabra is incredibly shocked that they ate their fruit. Kaku and Kalifa look slightly worried about their fruit. Fukurou and Kumadori ask if they sense anything else. Kaku and Kalifa both exclaim how disgusting their fruit tastes. Jabra yells at them to do something and asks what power they have. Kalifa said she didn’t feel any different. Lucci tells them that they will realize their powers in time and that she is looking forward to it. He also tells them to at least get the hang of their abilities because they might have to fight soon and how Blueno has already moved on.
The scene changes to the roof of the courthouse. Blueno tells Luffy that he underestimated him while thinking how amazing it was that Luffy was able to keep up with his Soru. Luffy tells him not to underestimate him. Blueno lunges at Luffy using Geppou, thinking how direct attacks won’t hurt the rubber. Luffy is about to attack, but Blueno hits him with the Rankyaku and Luffy goes flying. He then starts attacking Luffy with Tekkai: Rin, which Luffy narrowly dodges. Blueno then chases after Luffy with a bicycle style leg movement. Just as he is about to hit Luffy, he vanishes using his Doa Doa no Mi ability, leaving a hole in the roof in the exact shape of his body if he were a spread eagle. The whole then closed and only the outline remained. This confused Luffy. Blueno then opens and changes the two roof tiles into doors that he can stick his arms out of. He grabs Luffy’s ankles and pulls one leg into each door, effectively trapping Luffy. When Blueno resurfaced from the floor, Luffy asked him if he was a Devil Fruit user. Blueno replies that he has the power of Doa Doa no Mi, which means he can make a door anywhere and out of anything. He explained that he could turn anything into a door. To demonstrate this, he punched Luffy in the head, causing the center of his head to spin. This caused Luffy to be unable to see anything properly as his eyes were spinning. Blueno then hit a defenseless Luffy with a rankyak, knocking Luffy into the side of the roof and destroying one of the blocks on the perimeter of the roof.
Zoro saw Bluen’s attack and asks Sanji who saw it too. Sanji reveals to everyone that Luffy is already fighting CP9. Nami and Chopper stare in disbelief while Zambai looks annoyed that Luffy has already started fighting. However, due to Gomora being injured and surrounded by marines and government agents. Zoro and Sanji now decide their only option is to fight their way through the crowd and make their way to the courthouse. The Franky Family agrees. However, before anyone can fully jump, Chopper yells at them to stop. Everyone was surprised. Chopper simply tells them to “Hold on tight” saying it was a message from Gomora. As the bull king rises, everyone is shocked that Gomorrah still has any fight left in him. Someone shouts the order to take down Gomorrah with mortar fire, but Gomorrah holds out. The Bull King then does something strange, slams his head into a building. Zambai asks what Gomora is doing and if he has reached his limit. Chopper replies that the mortar fire got his retinas and Gomorrah is now blind. While everyone tells Gomorrah to stop, Chopper relays what the royal bull is saying. Gomorrah promised Sodom that she would bring everyone to the judgment house. Zambai then remembers when Sodom and Gomorrah first joined the Franky Family. They were in the belly of the sea king that the Franky family was eating. Since they were all too full from the sea king to eat the royal bulls, Franky suggested taking them home as an emergency ration. He also remembered when they were beaten by the pirates and how the Franky Family fought the pirates to get revenge and once when the couple danced after being injured. Gomorrah started to run into a dead end, a building blocking their way. They all screamed for Gomorrah to stop, saying the impact would kill him. Zoro asked Sanji if he could see the dead end, Sanji said no. With a shocked and confused Chopper looking on, Zoro and Sanji then reduced the building to large pieces of rubble, allowing Gomorrah to pass safely. And in
