Summary:
At Ohara, Saul finishes his raft to depart. Seeing how sad Robin is to leave, he decides to stay and add the flag.
They come to advise where Saul will go, says Saul back to the sea. Robin says she would like to go there one day too, her mother who is studying archeology somewhere will return to the island one day and Robin was studying to go with her. Robin then mentions the Void Century and talks about the world government banning people from studying it. She mentions the Poneglyphs, suddenly Saul realizes what Robin is discussing and asks her if she knows her mother’s name, Olvia.
Saul panics when he realizes this means he landed on the Hound without knowing. Saul then informs Robin that Ohara is currently being targeted by naval warships on their way to exterminate the scholars. Robin calls him a liar, but Saul insists it’s the truth. Saul sends Robin to her local town to see if everything is okay, even mentioning that her mother might have returned.
Olvia comes to the Tree of Knowledge to warn everyone. Olvia tells them the details of the ill-fated ship that sailed 6 years ago. The World Government targets the island. All 33 members of her team were killed, leaving her as the soul of the remaining crew, the dead were examined and their possessions traced back to Ohara. Olvia takes the blame for putting them all in danger, but Clover assures her that the only one having a hard time is her. He begs everyone to leave, but Clover and the others have other ideas. Knowing that this time they can’t stop the world government from finding out about their studies, Clover claims they can’t leave Ohara’s treasures. They conclude that if they escape, they cannot protect the treasures on Ohara.
Another thing then catches her attention, but she says she shouldn’t go to see her daughter. Flashing back to the day she left, she recalls Robin crying at the thought of losing her mother, but unable to let go of her husband’s desire to find the truth. Robin is then left in the hands of her brother, but his wife Roji immediately shows signs of resistance to accepting another child. Later, Robin appeared at the Tree of Knowledge and Clover let her in. Clover claims that Robin is a lot like her mother, Olvia replies that once she finds Robin, she has to cut ties with her, she is known as the daughter of a criminal.
As the messenger announces the arrival of the World Government ship, Olvia declares that they must not say they are in any way related to her. He takes the gun and runs out of the tree. Spandine arrives on the coast and gives orders to arrest anyone who is a scholar. In town, everyone is panicking about a woman running around with a gun, during the panic, Robin and Olvia pass each other, not knowing they are mother and daughter. Elsewhere on the island, Saul is upset about the situation. Elsewhere, Kuzan wakes up to hear the news that Spandine has arrived.
