Read One Piece Manga Chapter 430

 Summary:

Luffy and Chopper realize that Usopp is missing. Usopp tells Sanji that he can't show his face now that he's come. Sogeking tells them that Usopp got on another ship and Zoro still can't believe that they don't realize who Sogeking is. Nami reports that she searched the ship but found no one on board to explain how the Going Merry got to them. He talks about the voice he and Kokoro heard. Chopper is certain that Ko's voice was the voice of their ship. Just then, Luffy sees a ship in front of him. It's a Galley-La Company ship with Iceburg and the rest of the boatmen on board. They are relieved to see that the Straw Hats are okay. Just then, the bow of the Going Merry falls away from the rest of the ship. Someone asks what is happening all of a sudden. Sanji replies that it's not sudden because their ship wasn't supposed to be able to go any further. Luffy begs the boatmen to help them. Iceburg tells Luffy that the only thing that can be done for their ship is to let it rest. Iceburg then has a flashback to when he heard and found the Going Merry on Scrap Island. She told him she wanted to go on one last journey. Iceburg then worked tirelessly to repair the ship as best he could. The other workers tell him that a big wave is coming and he starts to leave. Then he heard the sound of the ships thanking him as the wave carried her out to sea. Iceburg calls the ship a miracle that has reached its limit.

The Straw Hats and Franky are then in a lifeboat next to the Galley-La ship. Luffy is in a smaller boat a few yards next to Going Merry, holding a torch and asking the crew if they are ready for Going Merry's viking funeral. Luffy tells the ship that the bottom of the sea is dark and they escort her out. Luffy adds that it will be best if Usopp isn't here because he probably couldn't handle this moment. Zoro asks Sogeking what to say to that. Sogeking replies that Usopp is ready to accept it. She adds that when men break up, there should be no tears. Luffy touches the torch to the ship's hull and is engulfed in flames. Luffy thanks her again for carrying him all this way. Nami looks up and realizes it's snowing. The crew then remembers the first time they got the Going Merry, when they entered the Grand Line with her, and when they went to Skypiea with her and left her. Going Merry then says she's sorry because she wishes she could carry the crew just a little further. Luffy tearfully tells her that they should apologize to her. He tells her that he tore the sails and knocked her into the iceberg, Zoro and Sanji were clumsy and broke things too, and Usopp was never able to fix her. Going Merry simply tells them that she was happy. Luffy, Usopp, Nami, Franky and Chopper are in tears and Zoro, Sanji and Robin just watch silently as their ship slowly sinks into the sea.
