Summary:
Sanji tells the crew that he recently saw Usopp, and Luffy, Chopper, and Nami decide to go get him back, but Zoro is completely against it. He says that they shouldn't let Usopp rejoin, which angers Chopper and Nami, but Zoro explains that Usopp was the one who started the fight and lost, and if Luffy is willing to forget all of that and let Usopp rejoin without he apologized for his. mutiny, then the whole crew will disband. Zoro even threatens to leave if Luffy acts like this is just another joke. Nami tries to calm him down, but Zoro angrily slams his sword on the ground, asking if abandoning the crew is that easy. Zoro then goes on to say that he can't trust a guy who decides to leave the crew and then just come back. He adds that if the first thing he hears from Usopp is an outright apology, then he'll let him rejoin, but if he apologizes, he'll leave. Sanji actually agrees with Zoro and Luffy admits that he is right.
The scene switches to Vice Admiral Garp's ship, where Koby feels embarrassed that Garp would attack Luffy after such a touching reunion. Garp tells him if he wants to complain then he should complain to the Admiral of the Sengoku fleet since he was the one who ordered him to go back there. Aokiji is there too, but only because he doesn't want to ride a bike.
Meanwhile, Usopp rushes through the streets of Water 7, running through various scenarios, thinking he's ready for a grand, warm welcome back to the crew.
Meanwhile, on Scrap Island, Franky's family say goodbye to Franky as he boards the ship. Franky notices that they are missing one member and Luffy says that they are leaving without Usopp. They wait for him to come, but he doesn't. Luffy says that he will remember the good times he and Usopp had together.
Suddenly, Garp appears around the corner and informs Luffy that he will die here. Luffy claimed that he wouldn't attack. Garp simply says he got his orders and continues his attack by hurling a cannonball at them at breakneck speed. The Straw Hats are stunned, but get ready to defend the ship and start sailing. Garp then asks for a thousand cannonballs and intends to throw them all at them.
Just then, Usopp arrives and is surprised to see them leaving without him. He begins to run after them, launching into his brilliant comeback scenarios and even admitting that he is the Sogeking. However, the Straw Hats don't listen because they are too busy protecting the ship. Usopp tells them he wants to come back and they should be happy because he is captain Usopp. He suddenly remembers how Luffy had been saying all along that he was just a burden and takes the comment back. He tells them to accept him back because no matter what they are still friends. However, Luffy and Zoro in particular ignore him despite Chopper yelling.
Usopp is now on his knees wondering if this is really goodbye. He then remembers what he said during his fight with Luffy and exclaims that he is sorry for everything.
He apologizes for everything and begs to be let back into the crew, tears streaming down his face. Luffy reaches out, also bawls his eyes out, and calls Usopp an idiot, while Zoro (who is actually smiling at this point) calls Luffy an idiot. Nami also has a happy tear in her eye and says that they are both crazy. And so the crew is reunited and they set sail for their next adventure.
