Read One Piece Manga Chapter 551

 Summary:

Sabaody Archipelago
Everyone in the world is shocked by the new revelation that Ace is the son of a former pirate king. Reporters try to get in touch with their office, while one simply drops his laptop and is shocked at the prospect that Gol D. Roger's bloodline has continued.

Marineford
All the marines are stunned by the new information. Smoker seems to be in shock, Mihawk is worried, and Hancock is thinking that Luffy and Ace weren't actually brothers. Ace keeps his head down while the three admirals have no expression. Moria states that Ace was lucky because everyone associated with Roger was prosecuted and that it was a miracle he was able to leave behind a son, while Doflamingo just laughs. Koby and Helmeppo quietly whisper to each other about Ace and Luffy and their fathers. Garp just looks out and enters a flashback.

Garp's flashback
In Gol D's prison cell, Roger tells a younger version of Garp that he was going to have a baby and that he wouldn't be able to live long enough to see it. Garp demands to know why Roger told him this, as he was a marine and that any woman associated with the Pirate King would receive the death penalty. Roger nods and states that was why he was telling him. He also says that Ace's mother will be killed, but asks Garp to protect the unborn child. He tells Garp to protect him with a smile reminiscent of Luffy. Garp says Roger doesn't tell him what to do and says he would protect him.

On Baterilla Island, marines search the island for pregnant women. One orders the killing of any suspects, stating that Roger's age is over and that his bloodline is to end. Rouge is seen walking away from the Marines. Later, Garp is seen present in the room with Rouge on the bed holding the baby. He says that if the baby was a girl, it would be named Anne, while if it turned out to be a boy, Ace. So the child was named Gol D. Ace. Garp looks worried as the doctors try to revive Rouge.

Garp is seen taking the younger Luffy into the forest, where he says it was his new home. A younger version of Ace is waiting for him.

Recently, in Impel Down, Garp remembers what Ace said when he said that he owed his mother a great debt while not caring about his other blood/heritage, that Whitebeard was his only father.

Marineford
Sengoku states that two years ago, Ace took "Portgas D" as his last name and conquered the seas with amazing strength and speed as the captain of the Pirate Pirates. Sengoku then reveals that it was when they noticed that Roger's bloodline didn't end. He goes on to say that Whitebeard has also noticed and claims that Whitebeard took Ace to make the young commander the next Pirate King. Ace screams and says that his goal was to make Whitebeard the pirate king, not himself. Sengoku claims that it was just a delusion and that the marines were careless before. Sengoku says that if they had left Ace alone, Ace would have stood at the pinnacle of a new age of piracy and that his execution had more meaning. A marine runs up and reports that the Gates of Justice were opened and they couldn't get in touch with the power plant.

Tarai Current, Gates of Justice
Jinbe and Luffy look up in amazement as the Gates of Justice open themselves. Buggy is then seen standing in front of the Gates with his arms outstretched and his eyes closed. The prisoners mistake it for the "next Messiah" and they all begin to worship Buggy. Mr. 3 yells at them that they are crazy.

Marineford
Another marine reports that the enemy has arrived, which shocks Sengoku since they arrived so quickly. The ships are then revealed to be a gigantic fleet of pirate ships, all displaying different symbols/flags. Marines confirm some pirate captains like "Bohemian Knight" Doma, "Thunder Lord" McGuy, Decalvan Brothers, Squard "Great Whirlpool Spider": all pirates and their captains achieved infamy in the New World. The fleet arrives in total of 43, all subordinate crews of Whitebeard, here to save Ace. Ace looks on, surprised that everyone has come. Doflamingo screams and calls out to Whitebeard as he was extremely excited.

Suddenly the admirals pick up something. Sengoku thinks about a possible placement, while Tsuru thinks they picked the wrong formation, and Garp says that Whitebeard picked a pretty good placement. A shadow can be seen in the water and it is soon revealed that Whitebeard has painted his ships and gone underwater. Moby Dick soon emerges along with three other ships. The Marines confirm that all of Whitebeard's pirate commanders were present, as Whitebeard himself walks the whalemast of his ship, happy that his son Ace was unharmed.
