Read One Piece Manga Chapter 701

 Summary:

The Thousand Sunny docks in Dressrosa, among the boulders. Luffy strikes his signature pose and loudly announces their arrival. Franky is eager to find and destroy the factory. Luffy tries to ride Momonosuke like before in Punk Hazard, but Momonosuke claims he can't fly and doesn't remember doing it. He says that even if he could, he would never do such a horrible thing as he vaguely remembers a dark hand reaching out to him and someone asking him his name. The pair continue to fight over whether Momonosuke is a coward or not, despite his insistence that the samurai is not afraid of anything. Luffy states that he doesn't care about samurai and says that he'll be the Pirate King one day, while Momo bites her head and counters by saying that he'll be Shogun of Wan one day. Brook sighs and reminds Luffy that he is fighting an eight year old. Kin'emon steps in and admonishes his son, telling him to respect the man who saved his life. Kin'emon tells him that the samurai of Wan are very proud, but also tells Luffy not to get so caught up in the eight year old's arguments, but the two continue to hold their tongues at each other. Kin'emon offers to provide disguises for the time the group is on the island. He claims that the men are all wearing shirts and suits while the women are all naked, which pleases Sanji and infuriates Nami.

Law gives Nami a Vivre card that points to Zo, in case something happens to them. Law shows the Straw Hats a map of Dressrosa drawn by one of his crew. The team handing over Caesar to Doflamingo passes through Dressrosa and heads north across the long bridge to the Green Bit; obviously you can't get there by boat. Law, Usopp and Robin (with Caesar) are the team heading to the Green Bit. Meanwhile, Nami, Momo, Brook, and Chopper will take care of Sunny while the rest head out to destroy the factory.

As Sanji, Kin'emon, Franky, Zoro, and Luffy walk around the island, they witness the things that Dressrosa is famous for: beautiful flower fields, the smell of delicious food, the tireless, passionate dances of the women, and to the surprise of the whole group, animated humanoid toys that they live next to humans. The stick figure has his arm torn off and stolen by a dog, while the tin soldier remarks that he knows the straw men from the newspaper. The team then hears a scream as someone is stabbed in the street, Zoro asks if there is a slasher roaming the street, but the soldier explains that the women on the island are so passionate that they stab any man caught cheating, which stuns Luffy again team.

The group is in the port city of Acacia. Kin'emon changes them all into black suits, shirts, and fake beards as Luffy declares it's time to eat. At the restaurant, Sanji notes that the town seems too peaceful for a nation whose king just resigned this morning. Luffy tries to ask someone nearby for information, but Sanji stops him and tells him that his face was in the newspaper just that morning. A monkey waiter brings food to the group, and when conversation begins about the food, he informs them that the island has a legend of fairies and that they have been seen there for centuries.

The restaurant also includes a casino with tables opposite the dining room. A bunch of crooks take money from a blind man and lie to him about the roulette results. The punks say to each other that when Buffalo isn't in the bar, they can cheat all they want. The other customers are displeased and comment on the disgrace they have brought to Doflamingo's name by their actions. The blind man bets all his belongings and the punks lie to him again, eager to rob him of all the money, but Luffy intervenes and exposes their lies to the gang's anger. The blind man thanks Luffy for telling him the truth and pulls the sword from his staff. Suddenly the criminals are pushed to the ground by overwhelming force as the blind man tells them to go to hell. The floor of the restaurant sinks into a dark abyss and swallows the thief whole. As the crowd watches, the blind man comments on the benefits of his condition, as there is much filth in this world that one does not wish to see.
