Summary:
Luffy and Jinbe dodge as Big Mom swings a Prometheus at them, and someone tells Big Mom to look at the banquet table as Brook breaks the portrait of Mother Carmel. Luffy and Jinbe cheer and the Big Mom Pirates are shocked to see this, wondering how a sentient clone of Luffy could be out there. Brook then reveals that he is not a clone when he pulls off Luffy’s mask, but the wedding guests think he has pulled off his real skin. Big Mom is confused to see Brook again and slowly asks him if he knows about the importance of the portrait. The Big Mom Pirates are shocked and scared by Big Mom’s upcoming reaction, and the Judge believes that the Straw Hats are only doing this to get Sanji back. As a dazed Big Mom remembers her ruined wedding cake, her crew mobilizes to defeat the Straw Hats before they go insane.
Meanwhile, Pudding furiously tries to shoot Sanji, trying to show him that she is his enemy who tricked him into killing him. However, Sanji dodges all of her shots and asks if she’s fooling herself too, causing Pudding to falter briefly. Before she can recover, she is suddenly attacked and Sanji pulls her out of the way. The attacker, Charlotte Daifuku, berates her younger sister for her failure when a giant genie emerges from his belt buckle thanks to his Hoya Hoya no Mi ability. Pudding promises to finish her job, but Daifuku says her time is up as he sweeps her away. Sanji is shocked by Daifuku’s action, and Drug Peclo realizes that the Straw Hats must try to save Sanji from his fate at Pudding’s hands. Daifuku’s genie attacks Sanji and Sanji initially manages to counter it, but it blasts him with another powerful punch. In the Mirror World, Brûlée begs Caesar to stop using her as he flies around with her on his back, but Caesar is determined to complete his mission to win back her heart. As some of Big Mom’s forces are busy with Luffy’s animal duplicates, Bege pins Luffy to maintain his cover, and when he reports this to Big Mom, he is ordered to kill Luffy. Jinbe wonders when Big Mom will react to breaking the portrait since she can’t contain her powers for too long and tells Pedro not to block the opponent’s attacks. However, Pedro blocks a blow from Charlotte Oven, but Oven heats his sword with the power of Netsu Netsu no Mi, rendering Pedro unable to carry it. Remembering Pedro’s first invasion of Totto Land, Trouba wonders why he came back with so few years left to live, promising to show him no mercy and burn him to death.
Nami, Chopper, and Carrot hang out inside the wedding cake, wondering why nothing happened three seconds later. Brook is then decapitated, but remains alive as his head rolls towards Luffy. The Judge then calls for help and the Straw Hats are shocked to see the Vinsmokes trapped at their table, noting that their plan is not going as planned. The Vinsmokes are sitting at their table, surrounded at gunpoint by several Big Mom pirates and tied to their seats with Perosper’s candy. The judge shouts that there should be honor among thieves, but his sons call his behavior foolish as they remain nonchalant even when their lives are in danger. Reiju muses that it’s Judge’s fault for turning his sons into barely human beings who can’t feel anything, even at the prospect of death. Perospero laughs gleefully at the impending carnage, and Judge begins to cry as he pleads that it’s a joke. After all the work he’s put into restoring the power of the Germian Kingdom, he can hardly handle the prospect of death, but his pleas for Big Mom to say something fall on deaf ears as she’s completely preoccupied with Carmel and the wedding cake. Perospero says that Judge is lucky that Big Mom’s fury is focused on something else, and compares the family to a herd of cows about to be slaughtered, ignoring their cries.
Meanwhile, Brook tells Luffy that he needs to show Big Mom the broken portrait of Carmel since she’s currently torn between him and the wedding cake to really get her mad. However, Luffy notices Katakuri approaching them and Bege tells Luffy to continue with the plan while he confronts Katakuri. Bege notices that Katakuri’s face has turned completely white, indicating that he has seen a terrifying future. Bege tells Jinbe and Pedro to pick Luffy up and put earplugs in as Luffy grabs the fragments of the portrait and Big Mom’s pirates become suspicious of Bege. Katakuri orders Bege to shoot Luffy, but Bege refuses. As Luffy prepares to show Big Mom the shards of the portrait, Bege says that while Katakuri can see a bit into the future, anyone has the power to change it.
