 Summary:

Oden claims to have been sent to the future by Toki’s powers, and most of the Nine Red Sheaths believe it is indeed him. However, Ashura Doji and Raizo quickly realize that it is a fake, and when “Oden” does not bleed out after Ashura cuts his face, the Sheath realizes that he is one of Kanjur’s drawings and that their former friend has survived. Kanjuro says that he will stab the Kozuki family’s heart before he dies from his injuries, and Oden’s sketch ignites some explosives hanging under his clothes to kill all the Sheaths. However, Ashura is able to grab the fake Oden and move him out of the room, sacrificing himself to the explosion to save his comrades. As Kanjuro moves alone to find and attack Momonosuke, Jack then comes to Pochev’s room to confront them. However, Inuarashi stays behind to face All-Star alone while the rest of his comrades go to protect Momonosuke.
Meanwhile, Kurozumi Orochi is alive and well despite being seemingly beheaded by Kaidou, and he and Fukurokuju go through the castle and set it on fire as an act of revenge. On the roof of the Skull Dome, the five Supernovas are desperately trying to figure out a way to gain the upper hand against the tandem of Kaido and Big Mom.
At the Treasure Repository, Oden tells the Nine Red Scabbards that he doesn’t blame them for being surprised, and explains that Toki sent him to the future with her Devil Fruit powers, a story he offers to explain later. Kin’emon, Nekomamushi, Kikunojo, Inuarashi, Kawamatsu, Izou, and Denjiro are overcome with joy at his apparent return, and Oden tells his charges that now they can stop Kaidou together. Just as they are all about to follow him, Ashura Doji yells at his friends not to be fooled, saying that the Oden standing in front of them is an impostor. Kin’emon tries to deny it, saying that he was standing in front of them, but Raizo approaches Ashura and reminds Kin’emon that Toki told them it was impossible to go back to the past, and since Oden died that day, how could he can it be here in the future?
Kin’emon tries to defend Oden, unaware that he has drawn his sword against him. Ashura punches Kin’emon out of the way and yells at him to open his eyes as he slashes Oden in the face where they can’t see blood coming out. Ashura ends up getting stabbed by “Oden” while telling his friends that he understands their wish that this was the real Oden. Seeing this deception, the Nine Red Sheaths demand to know who would pull such a cruel trick. They all realize that they were the only ones who knew Oden and his ways, which means that the one responsible for creating this fake was Kurozumi Kanjuro.
Kikunojo apologizes to Ashura for not killing Kanjur, but he forgives her, saying that the sharpest sword is dulled when turned against a friend. Scabbards begin fighting the Oden drawing, wondering where Kanjuro is, and Kanjuro reveals through Oden’s drawing that he is controlling the drawing remotely. He also tells his former comrades that it is draining his energy, but since he is already injured, he believes that he will not live to see the end of the war anyway. However, he plans to kill Momonosuke, who the Sheaths know is in danger after the Marys revealed his location along with Shinobu. The fake Oden then sets off an explosive which Ashura notices. He deals with the drawing and tells his friends to run and stop Kanjur. He storms out of the room with the drawing and tells Kanjuro that his mockery of Oden ends here as the drawing explodes and throws everyone away.
The scabbards see Ashur badly injured, but continue after Kanjur as he declares that disguising himself as Kozuki to destroy them before his death would be a fitting finale to his lifetime achievement. However, the pods are stopped by Jack, who is held back by several Minks. Inuarashi tells the others to continue as Jack asks if he seriously wants to fight him alone, but Inuarashi says that they were both injured but he still believes it will be enough. He then tells Jack that it’s not about settling a grudge anymore, but that he intends to stop him from hurting anyone anymore. The others leave to find Momonosuke while Jack scoffs that there is no moonlight to activate his Sulong form. However, Inuarashi retorts that Jack doesn’t have his poison gas weapon either.
Meanwhile, Kurozumi Orochi, who is revealed to be alive, begins setting fire to the castle in retaliation for Kaidou’s betrayal. He is accompanied by Fukuroku who silences anyone who sees Orochi. Elsewhere, Momonosuke returns to normal and hides in Yamato’s clothes again, saying that he can now control his transformation better, unlike when he first met Luffy and his crew, whenever he got anxious. Yamato admits that he was surprised that he was able to transform into a creature similar to Kaidou, and Momonosuke admits that he wishes he could transform into something as powerful as Kaidou so that he could be more useful. Yamato wonders how Luffy is doing and wishes to help him as “Oden”. However, Momonosuke reveals that Luffy is worn out but still in high spirits. Shinobu is relieved but questions how Momonosuke could have known.
At the top of the skull dome, a recovered Luffy is blasted into the rock between Zoro and Kid. The two wonder how they are supposed to defeat the two emperors as none of their attacks seem to work. Luffy says they are because Kaidou and Big Mom are human so they must feel pain from their attacks. He tries to attack again but is knocked back into the wall again as Killer wonders how he can call them human. Luffy says that a losing attitude won’t help as Zoro demands that he help come up with a plan. Law suggests that the two of them split up, to which Zoro and Kid agree, as Kid says that fighting the two of them is hell. Luffy says it’s true, then he’s been to hell and back several times. Kaidou looks at Luffy and tells him that his eyes will never lose their fire.
