Summary:
Big Mom defeats the Queen by throwing him into a wall, which knocks Kid and Killer out of the water and damages Kawamatsu’s cell door. Big Mom then finds the o-shiruko container only to find it empty. Luffy inadvertently reveals that he ate it, causing him to attack him and Hyogoro in a fit of rage. Big Mom pushes them out of the ring, but Luffy manages to rip off their collars in the heat. Hyogoro then decides to have Luffy train to make progress in his Haki by forcing Luffy to protect him from Big Mom.
Meanwhile, the Beasts Pirates are unable to contact Kaidou or anyone outside of Udon because Caribou got the idea to suffocate Boss Tanishi, who was transmitting all their signals.
Immediately after hitting his head on the ground, Big Mom picks up Queen by the neck and spins him around, yelling at him to give her his o-shiruko. He then throws Queen into the wall with monstrous force, and Queen crashes into the device holding Kid and Killer, knocking them out of the water. As Luffy asks the duo if they are still alive, Queen’s subordinates watch in shock as Queen transforms back into a human as she lies defeated. They then notice that the door to the cell where Kawamatsu is has been broken open and ask Babanuki what they should do. Babanuki tells them not to provoke Big Mom until they receive an order from Kaidou, but his men reveal that their Smart Tanishis are not working.
At the Executive Tower, Raizo notes that their plan is going smoothly thanks to the commotion outside and recalls the plan Caribou came up with. Caribou had previously revealed that due to Smart Tanishi’s weak signal, his transmissions had to go through Boss Tanishi in order to broadcast to other locations. So they were able to prevent the Beast Pirates’ communications from getting out of Udon by knocking out Chief Tanishi, and he knew where he was after being in prison for a while. With Caribou successfully defeating Boss Tanishi, Raizo sets his sights on freeing Kawamatsu.
Back outside, Big Mom finds the queen’s o-shiruko pot and is entranced by its aroma. The Beasts pirates quietly worry about what will happen to them when they find it empty, and start running as soon as he opens it. Big Mom goes into a quiet depression when she sees the lack of shiruko, and Luffy sympathizes with her by inadvertently thinking out loud that he’d like to eat more too. This causes Big Mom to realize that he has eaten it and attack him in a fit of rage. Luffy tries to get her to stop before knocking him and Hyogoro out of the ring, attributing Big Mom not recognizing him to wearing a kimono. Luffy and Hyogoro are forced to the edge of the ring and Big Mom’s next attack is guaranteed to set their collars. Some of the Beasts pirates offer to help Big Mom kill the duo if they spare their lives in return, but Big Mom throws a rock at them, angrily saying that o-shiruko wanted very much so she could share it with the people of Okobore Town. . Enraged at Luffy for stopping her from doing so, she attacks him and Hyogoro, sending them out of the ring. Intent on not letting Hyogoro die, Luffy manages to rip off their collars in the heat of the moment before they explode. Babanuki and Daifugo are shocked when Luffy and Hyo land safely on the ground and Luffy immediately starts to run, but Hyo stops him. He says that Luffy could only develop his power when backed into a corner and told the pirate to protect him from Big Mom and staked his life on Luffy’s training to advance his Haki.
