 Summary:

After Oden’s execution, the nine red sheaths rushed to rescue his family at Oden Castle, which Kaidou set on fire when he confronted Momonosuke. Toki sent Momonosuke 20 years forward in time with Kin’emon, Kanjuro, Raizo and Kikunojo while Kawamatsu took Hiyori to safety. Toki then appeared before the watching citizens and delivered her prophecy before her death.
Denjiro went to the hut and emerged after a long time, his appearance changed due to his rage. He went to the Flower Capital and began to attract followers, calling himself Kyoshiro. As Kyoshiro, Denjiro became a yakuza boss and entered Orochi’s service as his bodyguard. Seven years after Oden’s death, he adopted Hiyori after finding her on the street and raised her as Komurasaki as they prepared for the day of the final battle.
As the Roger Pirates were leaving Skypiea, Kozuki Oden lifted his son above his head, allowing him to see the horizon, and told him that this was just a small part of the vast world beyond the land of Wano. During his travels, Oden began to teach Momonosuke various things, much to the surprise of the rest of the crew as to the subjects he teaches his little boy. After returning from his travels, Oden spent time with his family, telling his charges about Zou and listening to his daughter’s music.
As the Sheaths fled from the Beasts Pirates, Shinobu brought the samurai their weapons, allowing them to cut through the enemy. Shinobu then asked if she could become one of the family members, to which Kin’emon replied that none of them had asked, so it was up to her to decide, which she tearfully accepted. In the back of the group, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi started arguing, accusing the other of being Kaidou’s spy, which ended with one of the Numbers catching them. Denjiro and Ashura Doji stayed back to help them while the rest headed towards Kuri.
At Oden Castle, the place was surrounded by The Beasts Pirates as a fire was set beneath it. Inside, Kozuki Toki was holding her children when the pirate broke in. After knocking her out, Kaidou held Momonosuke by the neck on the roof, planning to kill him to end the Kozuki family. Momonosuke replied that he would succeed his father as a great warrior. Kaidou then threw Momonosuke into the burning castle as he drifted away. The sheaths then crushed and Toki called them forward to instruct them on the plan.
After the Kin’emon group was sent away and Kawamatsu escaped with Hiyori, Toki drove to Bakura City to deliver her prophecy as she remembered her life with Oden before collapsing from her wounds. Orochi was afraid of the prophecy and couldn’t stop shaking. Meanwhile, Ashura, Kawamatsu, and Denjiro prepare for the next 20 years.
Some time later, Denjiro’s grief and anger transformed him and his appearance changed beyond recognition. Denjiro then headed to the Flower Capital where he introduced himself as “Kyoshiro” and gathered new followers. Thanks to his new reputation, Kyoshiro met Orochi and began serving him as Yakuza boss, taking Hyogoro’s position. At the same time, the citizens of the capital began to notice Kyoshiro’s tired appearance and called him “Sleepy”, not knowing that the reason for this was that Denjiro spent his nights stealing money as “Ushimitsu Kozo”.
Thirteen years ago, after Hiyori left Kawamatsu, she was found and brought to Kyoshiro, who recognized her and brought her inside. After identifying himself, Denjiro swore to protect Hiyori at Kawamatsu’s place and trained her to become “Komurasaki” and hide until the day of battle predicted by Toki.
